Maybe it’s because I’ve been eating dim sum a few days in a row, but I made this Steamed Yu Choy recipe and thought it was worth sharing with my readers.
Ingredients
- 1 pound Yu Choy (Chinese greens), ends trimmed
- 3-5 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1tablespoon oil
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
Directions
- Heat the oil in your wok until hot. Turn the heat to medium. Add the garlic cloves to the oil and fry until the cloves are golden brown (be careful not to burn them, or else they will taste bitter).
- Add the Yu Choy. Toss so that each stalk gets coated with oil.
- Add the chicken broth and immediately cover. Let the vegetable steam for 3 1/2 minutes until tender.
- Serve immediately.
