Barcelona Wine Bar & Restaurant in New Haven has become the brand’s 10th location to serve brunch. Hungry New Havenites in search of a great meal on a sleepy Sunday morning will enjoy a unique menu featuring favorite tapas from the restaurant’s dinner offerings as well as upscale Spanish versions of brunch classics, such as Serrano ham gravy and a sunny-side duck egg over biscuits.
Other menu highlights include Oxtail Hash with poached eggs, fingerling potatoes, Piquillos, and caramelized onions and Lobster Eggs Benedict. For the less adventurous, there are elevated interpretations of standards such as Challah French Toast with Black Berries and Vanilla Bean Infused Maple Syrup.
A customer favorite at Barcelona’s other locations is the make your own Bloody Mary Bar, and New Haven is sure to be no exception. Barcelona’s popular “50% off bottles of wine” Sunday promo will be available during brunch for those who prefer sipping selections from one of the largest Spanish wine lists in the country. (One of the many reasons why we often dine at Barcelona on Sundays).
Brunch at Barcelona is sure to become a favorite for Yale students, young professionals, families (kids will be pleased to see menu selections just for them), and guests of The Omni Hotel. We’ve dined at their other locations and brunch was fantastic. I’m sure New Haven’s location will not disappoint.
