Barilla pasta and sauces are always in my pantry. I particularly love the new line of Piccolini pasta, miniature pasta that cooks in less time than the regular sizes – 7 minutes to be exact. While at the BlogHer Food Conference in Atlanta this past May, I had the opportunity to sample Barilla’s new line of sauces, which have recently been reformulated using only high quality, all-natural ingredients to create a noticeably thicker, richer texture that clings to pasta.
Barilla now has eight authentic sauces to choose from, including a brand new flavor – Toscana, Tuscan Herb. Here are the flavors:
- Arrabbiata: Spicy Marinara
- Basilico: Tomato and Basil
- Calabrese: Sweet Peppers
- Formaggi: Three Cheese
- Marinara: Traditional
- Montanara: Mushroom and Garlic
- Napoletana: Roasted Garlic
- Toscana: Tuscan Herb (new flavor)
Barilla sauces provide countless meal options with a recipe delicious enough to serve right from the jar. Some of my favorite meals can be made in 30 minutes or less – like Baked Ziti made with traditional marinara sauce, or Penne Basilico.
