Rohm is a Thai restaurant in the Flatiron District serving home-style dishes without breaking your wallet (the most expensive dish is $18, and that’s for a whole fish, jumbo shrimp or duck).
I often dine here for lunch and I haven’t been disappointed. Rohm serves generous portions that are served with either soup or salad, which is not bad for entrees priced from $7.50 to $13. My recommendations are the Pad See-euw (broad fat noodles, eggs, broccoli), Panang (lime leaf, coconut, bell pepper, string beans), and Basil stir fry (fresh basil, onion, chili, and bell pepper) – all of which are served with your choice of meat/protein.
The service is good, and the meals are served quickly. It’s a popular spot for lunch, so get here early to ensure you get a table without a wait.
