This weekend at the Mohegan Sun, the Sun WineFest Grand Tasting will take place. At this event you can sample over 1,000 wines and beer; there are also limited tastings of specialty spirits from our sponsors. Taste signature dishes* from some of the region’s most beloved restaurants at this food and wine lovers’ haven. Celebrity chef demonstrations featuring Bobby Flay, Todd English, and Marcela Valladolid take place on the Main Stage throughout the day along with other special events, including Mohegan Sun WineFest Grape Stomp, presented by Yellow Tail and Oyster Open presented by Bud Light Lime. An impressive lineup of wine and beer experts will host seminars in intimate settings in the private dining rooms of restaurants throughout Mohegan Sun (separate ticket required).
For chocolate lovers, Guylian will be in the Grand tasting pavilion for all guests to indulge in our luxurious Belgian chocolates. They are offering a special pairing seminar, Chocolate & Cabernet Sauvignon: A Love Affair with Louis Martini Winery, Wine and Spirits Magazine’s Winery of the Year 2010 (see all information below) on Saturday. As the Grand Tasting is all sold out for Saturday, there are still some tickets available for Sunday and they still have tickets for the seminar available to any guests (with or without the Grand Tasting ticket).

Guylian pure Belgian chocolate, prepared using an artisanal recipe that has withstood the test of time, will be paired with world class Cabernet from Sonoma County, Napa Valley and Alexander Valley, crafted by third generation winemaker, Michael Martini.
