Sushi Hana, located on 78 St and 2nd Ave in the Upper East Side, serves fresh sushi at reasonable prices. The ambiance is great and the food is good. From the outside, you would think the restaurant was a diner, when it’s really a sushi restaurant. The menu consists of the usuals – appetizers, hot dishes, sashimi, rolls, and specialty rolls. I recommend the following specialty rolls – Volcano Roll (a spicy roll with fried calamari jalapeno scallion spicy tuna wrapped outside), the Caribbean Roll (spicy salmon with tempura flakes, red onion, caviar mint leaves wrapped mango outside), and the Fashion Roll.
