On Friday night, I met up with my boyfriend and other couple for dinner. We met up at Zabar’s on 80th and Broadway, and decided to kill time and check out what the Steve Madden outlet had to offer. My friend picked up a pair of flats, and since it was “Buy One, Get One” I picked up a pair of cute pumps. Not bad for $17.50. Afterwards, we went to Carmine’s for dinner. We ordered Antipasto, Calamari with Angelhair pasta in white sauce, and Chicken Scarpariello. All dishes were divine. My favorite was the chicken dish which is also called Shoemaker thighs. The Chicken Scarpariello was so delicious. Being a family style restaurant, the dish consisted of more than 10 pieces of chicken – wings, breast, thighs. Words can’t describe how delicious the food was. I highly recommend ordering this dish!
