First there were free burritos from Chipotle, now free meals.
Today and tomorrow, NBC will be taking over the East Side of Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central Terminal to sample amazing food as a way to promote their newest show: America’s Next Great Restaurant. Don’t miss out on the yummy samples. 9am to 7pm both days.
Lunch is served from 11-1
Dinner is served from 5-7

I picked the Fried Chicken Slider, which was pretty good (pictured, right). The sandwich was a tender piece of dark meat (my favorite), lightly breaded and fried, on a mini slider roll. It was served with a dipping sauce on the side. Couldn’t figure out what it was – I thought it was honey, but I had to run to catch my train.
On a side note:
This morning I saw Curtis Stone prepping for the opening.
