After work my friends and I ate went to my favorite Brazilian restaurant in Manhattan – Emporium Brasil. I ordered a glass of Cabernet to be paired with my meal of Aperitivo 46 (Frango, linguiça e camarão frito ao molho da casa) and Salada de Alface Mista com Laranja, Tomate e Palmito. Translated to English – the Aperitivo 46 was a dish of chicken, sausage and shrimp cooked in house sauce. The salad was mesclun with oranges, tomatoes, and hearts of palm. The servings were generous. I ordered off the appetizer and salad menu, and an appetizer would have been enough. Tastes – divine! I was craving the Brazilian sausage dish and I was not disappointed. My friends split skirt steak, rice, beans and a chicken salad. I look forward to coming back.
