The Westport Farmers’ Market is launching a pilot farmers’ market program next Thursday, April 2, under the strictest guidelines for shopping and collection of your purchases. This farmers’ market program is to gain access to local food.
Here’s how it works:
1. Go to WFM’s website and click the Order Online tab – online purchasing only at https://www.westportfarmersmarket.com/order/
2. Click on each individual logo to purchase directly from that vendor.
3. Current vendors are listed below.
4. Shopping ends by noon on Wednesday (some vendors are earlier).
5. Thursday by 9:00 a.m. you will receive a window of time to pick-up your orders.
6. Delivery option available – Westport only at this time.
7. Location: Gilbertie’s Herb Gardens, 7 Sylvan Lane.
8. Gilbertie’s will be open during these hours – great time to stock up on your garden needs. *Plus they will have Sal’s micro-greens.
Additional:
1. WFM will not offer any day-of shopping.
2. Please arrive on time.
3. Bring your own tote bags to collect your items.
4. Come prepared to honor your social contract (distance of 6 feet minimum).
5. Please bring your own gloves, mask and hand sanitizer.
6. *Bring your patience. They are working through each detail but to make this work they need your support. The only way this works is if we work together.
