Here are the things you need to do to get that hot pot started:
- Select your broth – there’s a variety of broths from the basic chicken broth ($5.99) to the spicy Thai broth ($8.99). Torn between two? No problem – you can get both – it’ll come in one pot with a divider (see right).
- Select your protein – thinly sliced beef, pork, you name it – they’ll bring a plate of it for you to cook in the hot pot.
- Select your veggies and other goodies to add to the broth. Towards the back of the restaurant is a fridge filled with plates of sliced tofu, noodles, bok choy, and other vegetables. Pay mind to the price of each plate – listed above the fridge.
- By the time you’re seated – the broth is already cooking on the electric stovetop on your table. So add all the ingredients to the pot, cook, and enjoy.
There’s a treat at the end of the meal – Bubbies mochi.
Tidbit: You can BYOB – so stop by the 7-Eleven at the other end of the complex and grab a Sapporo or two.
