Saltmills Cafe & Diner is a great eatery in Providenciales, not too far from many resorts on Grace Bay including The Regend Grand and The Sands resort. On the menu are the usual diner options, including breakfast which is served all day, burgers, pizza, and stuff for the kids. Saltmills Cafe is also known for their award-winning Conch Chowder – taking 1st place prize in 2006, 2007, 200, and 2009 at the Turks and Caicos Conch Festival.
The burgers are decent sized portions, much bigger than those served at the resorts in the area. Because I prefer getting seafood whenever I’m in a tropical location, I recommend the Fish and Chips, $12 and the Grilled Grouper, $20. Both are delicious. The Fish and Chips is a filling meal, and worth the price. The Grilled Grouper is healthier, and tasty.

Happy Hour runs from 4pm to 7pm, and you can get several beers for $3.50, including bottles of Heineken, Presidente, Corona, Turk’s Head, or for a buck more, Guiness. Original price will run you $5 to $6. You can view an outdated menu online – prices are off by $1.
