Layla’s Falafel is restaurant serving Middle Eastern food with locations in Stamford and Fairfield, CT. Layla’s is one of my favorites in Fairfield County, tied with Myrna’s which is also in Stamford. The staff are friendly, and I’ve been dining here for years. I’ll admit the quality of the food has been slipping lately at both Stamford locations, but the food is still worthwhile.
My favorites:
- Lamb Chops – for $16.99 you can get 4 lamb chops grilled to perfection, garlic dip, hummus, and salad.
- Arabic Lamb Schawerma – marinated grilled lamb rolled in a toasted wrap, smothered in garlic dip and hummus.
- Lamb Schawafel – a wrap consisting of slices of lamb and 2 pieces of falafel – a schawerma and falafel combined.
- Baklava
