I haven’t eaten frozen pizza in years. The last one I ate was either Ellio’s or Celeste pizza. This evening I had Betzio’s frozen pizza for dinner. I was expecting bland tasting pizza, but the moment I took a bite, I was impressed!
- The cheese actually tasted like cheese – because it’s made of 100% real cheese
- The tomato sauce tasted better than some local pizzeria’s tomato sauce. Very flavorful, and rich.
- The crust – crunchy, not too thick, not too thin.
A little skeptical, I checked the box for the list of ingredients. There had to be something added to enhance the flavor of the pizza to make it not taste like frozen pizza. Nothing fishy there. Not even preservatives:
Ingredients
Wheat flour (unbleached), water, cheddar cheese (pasteurized cultured milk, salt, enzymes), crushed tomatoes, soybean oil, sugar, salt, yeast, food starch modified, spices, and garlic powder.
So watch out Ellio’s, Celeste, Jeno’s – you got some competition!
