The wait is over. A couple months ago UberEATS opened up in Stamford leaving Norwalk and towns up 95 waiting for deliveries to come their way. Good news! I was just clicking around in my app hoping to see Westport in the delivery zone, and huzzah! UberEATS is now delivering in Westport and neighboring towns. Depending on your location, you can get food from over 20 local favorites from the Norwalk-Westport-Fairfield area delivered within minutes.
Participating restaurants include Jeera Thai Kitchen, Organika, Tablao, The Stand Juice Company, and Blue Cactus Grill (shown above).

What to Expect
Since I work in NYC, I use UberEATS often for lunch delivery. Just open the app, enter your address, and a list of open (and closed) restaurants will load.
Click the restaurant, peruse the menu, order what you want to eat, and wait for the food to be delivered. And if you need to know the whereabouts of your order, simply track its location through the app. Kinda like the regular Uber app.
To tip or not to tip
It’s up to you. Feel free to give the courier a cash tip. He/she may choose to accept or decline.
