Bambu Desserts is a San Jose founded brand serves about 100 different Asian-inspired desserts and drinks. They’ve got plenty of items to choose from – chè desserts, milk teas, smoothies, blended coffee, hot and cold drinks. I’d say they’ve got close to 100 varieties to choose from, mostly under $5.
Though their desserts are Vietnamese, they remind me of the Filipino halo halo, without the ube ice cream. So what did we get?
#6. Chè trái cây – Lychee, longan, red tapioca, jackfruit, palm seed, pandan jelly, jello, young coconut
#14. Đậu đỏ khoai môn bánh lọt – Red bean, taro, pandan jelly (No, we didn’t know how to pronounce it.)
Overall, great treats at a great price. You don’t have to go to Aiea to get your iced dessert fix. Bambu has locations nationwide.
