Last week a friend introduced me to Lot18 – to me, another Gilt Groupe type of site, but for wine.
Really, what is Lot18?

Our members have access to some of the finest wines and specialty foods, made available in small quantities at extraordinarily low prices. Since becoming a member, I’ve seen a lot of great deals on bottles of wine from various producers in California – close to 50% off. This weekend’s deal includes a bottle of 2008 Hartwell Estate Sauvignon Blanc, marked down from $35 to $19.99. I just did a price check online, and I’ve only found it priced at $35 on snooth.com.
I haven’t purchased anything yet, but I’m looking out for a good deal.
