Locals 8 Restaurant Group is proud to partner with Narragansett Brewing Company this holiday season to give back to the communities it serves. From now until December 31, a portion of proceeds from every Narragansett Lager purchased at any b Restaurant in Connecticut, will be given to Foodshare, the Feeding America food bank serving Connecticut’s Hartford and Tolland counties, where 121,000 people struggle with hunger.
Locals 8 is hosting a food drive of non-perishable food items that will be delivered to Foodshare before Thanksgiving. On Giving Tuesday, November 27, a team of Locals 8 employees will volunteer at Foodshare’s sorting facilities in Bloomfield and Hartford, followed by a Narragansett Tap Takeover at b Glastonbury from 6pm-8pm. The promotion will conclude with a check presentation to Foodshare in January.

Foodshare is the Feeding America food bank serving Connecticut’s Hartford and Tolland counties, where 121,000 people struggle with hunger. In partnership with the food industry, donors, community leaders and volunteers, Foodshare works to maximize access to nutritious food and other resources that support food security. Last year, Foodshare distributed nearly 12 million meals worth of food to a network of 300 local food pantries, meal programs, and Mobile Foodshare sites.
