Many food ordering apps have launched recently. One of the recent ones I’ve tried is Ritual, an app that allows you to order food for pickup at metro restaurants and cafes. Okay, so how does that differ from ordering on Seamless? Ritual allows you to earn rewards with every order. Plus, you get extra perks and freebies, depending on your member status.
Ritual serves NYC, Chicago, Toronto and other major cities. They launched in NYC earlier this year, and a handful of restaurants in the Flatiron District to the Financial District participate including my favorites Reviver, Exki, and Blank Slate. Over the past couple weeks, I’ve seen more restaurants added to the roster.
My first order was a delicious Avocado and Egg White Sandwich and black coffee from Blank Slate. I ordered it when my train arrived at Grand Central Terminal, and by the time I made it to the cafe on 30th Street, my order was packed and ready to go. I got bonus rewards points for ordering there for the first time too. Easy.
