For those that commute in/out of Grand Central Terminal, like me, take advantage of the National Beer Day specials at these participating vendors:
- Beer Table To Go celebrates National Beer Day with 20% off all draught beer available for takeaway in 64oz reusable growlers or capped mason jars. As usual, the Beer Table tricycle is available to rent with a fill of up to four craft brews for a truly unique happy hour.
- Central Market New York: From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on April 7, visitors will receive $1 off any beer (can or draught).
- Grand Central Oyster Bar & Restaurant will pair the Grand Central Oyster Platter and Oyster Bar Stout (Harpoon, Boston, MA) for a special deal of $29.95.
- Michael Jordan’s The Steakhouse N.Y.C. will honor National Beer Day with complimentary tastings of a variety of brews from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the restaurant’s community table. Brews include Goose Island Sodie, Goose Island Matilda, Goose Island Summertime Kolsch, and Stella Artois. Beer Ambassador Peter Pallad will be on-site to discuss different styles of beer. In addition, Michael Jordan’s The Steakhouse N.Y.C. will offer complimentary hors d’oeuvres by Executive Chef Cenobio Canalizo, such as pigs in a blanket. The National Beer Day brews will also be available for purchase at the MJ’s bar.
- Shake Shack will feature a special $3 ShackMeister Ale (normally $5) with the purchase of a ShackBurger or Grand Central Terminal Crunch-stellation frozen custard concrete.
- Shiro of Japan will offer $2 off a Sapporo Premium Japanese Beer 12 oz. can with the purchase of any Chirashi Bowl.
- Tri Tip Grill will offer a $2 tall can of beer with a purchase of $7.99 or more.
- Zaro’s Bakery will offer a happy hour special in their Dining Concourse location from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with two hot dogs and a pint of domestic beer for $10.50 at Zaro’s Hot Dog Corner.
