Grand Cayman is such a beautiful island that has been called the Culinary Capital of the Caribbean. We’ve dined at many restaurants during our one week stay in paradise, and one of our favorite restaurants to enjoy breakfast at was Eats Café in Seven Mile Beach. Eats Café is a funky diner located across The Westin Casuarina. Open daily from 6.30am to 11pm, they serve what you’d expect from a diner – delicious big breakfasts, sandwiches, pizza, pasta, and more with influences from around the world.
The breakfast menu features dozens of items to choose from. Be careful, your eyes may be bigger than your stomach and you may get yourself into trouble with a big breakfast that might put you back into bed with a food coma. Or maybe you could just pass out on the beach right after.
Most breakfast platters are priced around $10, and the portions are big and enough to share between two people. Forget about your calorie counting when you dine here. Our recommendations are the French Toast Combo – three slices of egg bread, batter dipped, grilled to perfection and dusted with powdered sugar and served with two eggs and a choice of ham, bacon or sausage plus a beverage – and the Pork Chop Jamboree Combo – two tender, juicy pork chops smothered in country gravy and served with two eggs, golden home fries and toast.
