Last week we attended the 11th Annual Taste of Westport at the Westport Inn. The event benefits CLASP Homes, a Westport-based nonprofit organization that has served lower Fairfield County for 32 years. CLASP provides housing, food, and high quality personalized services that enhance independence, dignity and continued growth for area adults living with autism and other developmental disabilities.
At the event, we sampled food and drinks from over 20 local restaurants, including The Spread, Little Barn, Pane e Bene, Jojoto, Rive Bistro, Bobby Q’s, and Post 154. Our favorite dishes were from The Spread – Roasted pork belly over fava bean purée with a red onion jam and a Beet Salad with goat cheese mousse.
