Brooklyn’s first bacon festival, The Great Big Bacon Picnic is coming to The Old Pfizer Factory in Williamsburg, Brooklyn on Saturday May 16th, 2015 and Sunday May 17th, 2015. The weekend long event created by Great Big Food Events LLC, is an indoor/outdoor gourmet celebration of the most amazing food item ever created – BACON!
Over 100 chefs, restaurants, food trucks, brew masters, mixologists, and culinary experts from all over NYC will be in attendance.
Highlights include:
– The first ever “Bacon Bar”
– Brooklyn’s own High & Mighty Brass Band (Bonnaroo & The Governors Ball, 2014)
– ‘Peoples Choice’ most ‘licks’ and ‘Judges Choice’ competitions for the best bacon dishes.
