Smashburger opens its first Manhattan location on Thursday April 10th. To celebrate, the fast-casual “better burger” restaurant will offer a FREE Classic Smashburger to each guest between the hours of 10am– 2pm or 5pm – 8pm. The newest Smashburger is located in Midtown next to the Empire State Building at 10 W. 33rd St., between Fifth and Sixth Avenues.
The new Empire State Smashburger will feature a menu specifically designed with regional flavors and taste preferences in mind. The Manhattan menu includes the New Yorker, a local burger highlighting Smashburger’s juicy burger topped with New York Cheddar cheese, garlic grilled onions, spinach, tomato and peppercorn garlic aioli on a brioche bun.
Aside from burgers, other items on the menu include chicken sandwiches, salads, and distinctive sides like veggie frites and haystack onions.
What we recommend:
- Classic Smash – a juicy burger nestled between a butter toasted bun, topped with lettuce and tomato and American cheese, which we learned 5% of it is blue cheese
- BBQ, Bacon & Cheddar Burger
- Avocado Ranch Black Bean Burger – the best veggie burger we’ve had. The black bean patty is fresh, flavorful and crumbly, unlike many frozen veggie patties
- Spinach, Cucumber & Goat Cheese Chicken Sandwich
