The Park Slope bar and restaurant Beer Table opened up the long-awaited Beer Table / Pantry in the Graybar Passage of Grand Central Terminal on Monday, August 18th.
I had a chance to stop by on opening day and see what they had to offer in their 300 square foot space.
Here’s what’s in store for you:
- A selection of 65-100 beers by the bottle – arranged by flavor profile. If you’re overwhelmed, just ask one of the beer folks and they’ll help you find the right beer to drink on the commute home (or later). A big fan of Belgian beer, I bought a bottle of ‘t Smisje Dubbe and Cochonnette (which I’ve never had before).
- Growlers – at the end of the week, you can snag a 1/2 gallon growler of 1 of the 6 beers available on tap.
- Condiments: malt/beer vinegars, mustards, pickles and ‘kraut from Rick’s
- Baked goods individually wrapped and ready to go.
I’ll be back for more.
