Cool down with gelato from Eataly’s Gelateria in NYC

Gelato is a perfect treat to cool off, especially today when temperatures hit the 90 degree mark in NYC. If you happen to be in the Flatiron District, stop by Eataly’s Gelateria and get a scoop, or two, or three of their creamy, savory gelato. A cone starts at $3.90; a cup starts at $4.90.

With over a dozen flavors available, it’s hard to commit to one scoop, so for a buck more, get a second scoop. Here are some of the flavors:

It’s hard to narrow down what my favorite gelati flavors are, but I’d say the hazelnut and pistachio. You can really taste the flavors in the gelato. The ingredients used in the gelati are from local producers, as well as from Italy. The milk is from a farm in Rochester, NY, the hazelnuts are from Piedmont, and the pistachios from Bronte, Sicily.
If you find yourself having a hard time making a decision of what flavor to buy, just ask for a sample or two.
