Terrace at Peachtree is a beautiful upscale restaurant offering sustainable dining in Downtown Atlanta at The Ellis Hotel (@TheEllisHotel). The restaurant has a nice ambiance and modern decor inside with an option for dining al fresco on the terrace which overlooks Peachtree Street. Terrace is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
For breakfast, Terrace serves small items like parfaits or bigger plates like omelettes with an assortment of fillings of your choice, French Toast, and more. You can view the breakfast menu on their website.
Being the omelette lover that I am, I ordered the 3 egg white omelette with smoked ham, mushrooms, and spinach. (they they offer egg white substitute). My omelette was served with a side of Logan Turnpike Mill grits and 2 slices of multigrain toast from H&F Bread Company. Each bite of the omelette was full of diced ham and vegetables – as filling as it was, it didn’t feel heavy because it was made with egg whites. The yellow grits were great and hearty.
One of my favorite items served with my breakfast was the strawberry lavender jam which was served with my multigrain toast. The jam was from Fairywood Thicket Farm and it had chunks of sweet strawberry and hints of lavender. Definitely the best strawberry jam I’ve had.
I highly recommend this restaurant. A little bit of southern comfort made me feel like I was in Savannah, not downtown Atlanta.
