Smashburger (Twitter handle: @SmashburgerNNJ) is a Denver-based burger joint in several cities throughout the US. I stopped by the Hackensack, NJ location in Riverside Square Mall to get my burger fix.
What is Smashburger? A place where you can get 100% Angus Beef, smashed, seared and seasoned on the grill, placed on a butter-toasted artisan bun and topped with the highest-quality cheeses, freshest produce and condiments. You also have a choice of a 1/3 or 1/2 pound burger with one of their great recipes or you can create your own. If you create your own, you can choose the type of bun, the amount of meat, and various add-ons. Don’t want a burger? Order a SmashChicken – grilled or crispy chicken sandwiches – or a SmashSalad.
And don’t forget to get a Häagen-Dazs shake or malt, or even a float.
