| Knife and Fork Ribs |
Houston’s is part of the Hillstone Restaurant Group. A couple years ago, there were several Houston’s sprinkled around NYC, but they recently changed it to Hillstone restaurants. Thank goodness the location in NJ is still around, and conveniently located in Riverside Square Mall in Hackensack, NJ.
My favorite items off their menu are the Spinach Artichoke Dip, Knife and Fork Ribs, and, keeping it simple, their Cheeseburger.
The Knife and Fork Ribs is a nice of ribs that you can eat without getting your fingers dirty, paired with fries and coleslaw. Actually, you don’t even need a knife. The meat is so tender, just a fork will do.

The cheeseburger is a patty of fresh house ground chuck topped with a generous slice of cheddar cheese, and paired with, of course, fries. I normally order my burgers cooked medium, and that’s the perfect way to order it – the meat is delicious and flavorful, and not to mention, lean.
Other items worth ordering is the Hickory Burger, if you like barbecue sauce on your burger, and Hawaiian Rib Eye.
