I’ve eaten at Butter a couple of years ago for Restaurant Week, and actually forgot about the restaurant until I received an email from them with no subject line. I’m surprised I actually clicked to view their email, but inside was an image for their April 2009 menu. Immediately I booked reservations for 2.
So last Friday, my fiance and I indulged in several items off their Prix Fixe menu – warm goat cheese salad, gnocchi with Prince Edward Island mussels, Sea Bass, Pork Tenderloin, Sorbet and Apple Tarts. Delicious. They didn’t disappoint me the first time, nor did they at my second dining experience. So when you’re around Astor Place, be sure to stop by.
