To kick off 2008’s Restaurant Week, I dined at Charlie Palmer’s Métrazur, located in Grand Central Terminal. The food was phenomenal. Below are the items we savored, which are worth mentioning:
- Maine Crab Cake, Celery Root and Cabbage Slaw
- Monk Fish – Fennel crusted monk fish, baby bok choy, shaved asian pears, orange soy reduction
- Steak with caramelized onions
- Panna Cotta
Métrazur has the best panna cotta I’ve ever had, and I love panna cotta. Perfect consistency and the perfect amount of vanilla.
The service is excellent. The wine list, impressive. And the views…how great is it to overlook Grand Central Terminal and watch people scurry along to their trains.
